Musicians on Reserve (“MOR,” “we,” “us”) operates morworship.com and connects churches with vetted, Christ-centered worship musicians. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using MOR, you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
Information you give us: your name, email address, phone number, church or ministry details, account login, and the details of your requests (such as service dates, songs, and the instruments or roles you need), along with any messages you send us.
Sign-in information: if you choose to sign in with Google, Apple, or Facebook, we receive basic profile information from that provider — typically your name, email address, and profile picture — only as needed to create and secure your account. We never receive your password for those services.
Payment information: payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not store your full card number. We keep records of transactions, such as amounts, dates, and the last four digits of the card used.
Information collected automatically: basic usage and device information (such as the pages you view, your browser type, and your IP address), and cookies or local storage used to keep you signed in and remember your preferences.
How we use your information
We use your information to create and manage your account; to match churches with musicians and coordinate the details of each request; to process payments to MOR and payouts to musicians; to communicate with you about confirmations, support, and service updates; to keep the service safe and secure; and to improve how MOR works.
How we share your information
Between churches and musicians: to fulfill a request, we share the details needed for the booking — such as the service date, songs, and the coordination details — with the matched church and musician.
Service providers: we rely on trusted providers to run MOR, including Supabase (accounts and data storage), Stripe (payments), and Google, Apple, and Facebook (optional sign-in). They handle information on our behalf under their own terms and privacy practices.
Legal and safety: we may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of MOR, our users, and the public.
We do not sell your personal information.
Data retention and security
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet our legal obligations, after which we delete or anonymize it. We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, though no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
Your choices and rights
You can access, update, or delete your account information at any time, or ask us to do so by emailing
[email protected]. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights — such as the right to access, correct, delete, or limit the processing of your personal information. You can also opt out of non-essential emails at any time.
Third-party sign-in
When you sign in using Google, Apple, or Facebook, that provider’s own privacy policy also governs the information they share with us. We encourage you to review those policies.
Children’s privacy
MOR is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date above, and we will communicate significant changes where appropriate.
